whitetailtrax
Nice picture Jeff. Those goats are goofy. I'm really looking forward to bowhunting them this year for the first time. Do you happen to know if they will be starting to rut over Labor Day weekend? That will be my first attempt at chasing them around and I have a good decoy, so hoping to bring them in. Hoping to shoot a dandy because I know they are in the area I will be hunting, but will probably settle on a smaller buck to get one under my belt. whitetailtrax
Re: A prong horn within bow range I'll be hunting the Sweetgrass hills near Chester on a private ranch. Rifle hunted there a couple years ago and what a blast! Had the place to myself and passed up countless animals before shooting a very nice critter. Won't have any competition bow hunting either so I'm really looking forward to it. Glad to hear the bucks are starting to round up the does. I think we'll be fine the first week of September. Gotta get my broadheads flying better though!!!
Tom2008
Re: A prong horn within bow range Wow its has to be really hard to get that close to them. I might be able to hunt antelope in Montana next year with rifle though.

superguide
Re: A prong horn within bow range I'm real good friend's with the Eggen's at Plentywood and Rod Tande at Scobey. Was just down there for the Sheridan County Fair. The goats in Sask. are sure looking good-closing the season for a few years seems to have worked.
