johnf
I orderd a set of Extreem Shrink Fletch at bass pro and want to make sure when I put them on that my arrows flay straight. How much do you turn the fletch to get the arrow spin to fly straight?
johnf
Re: Extreem Shrink Fletch I'm shooting a cross bow and the bolts are off-set straight. I'm getting about a 3" pattern out to about 30 yards right now, but I've got about a dozen bolts that I shot through hay bails and ripped the fletchings off of. The bolts are still straight, but very bald. Any way, my point is that I can't see how I could get the same off set straight with the shrink fletch. [/ QUOTE ] That's what I need to know how to do. How do I turn them, and how much do I turn it when I'm putting them on? I didn't think the offset could be done in the first place. MUDRUNNER
Re: Extreem Shrink Fletch I don't know how much helical to put in.All mine are on straight. They do come with little glue dots to hold the tube on the arrow however you want it until the tube tightens up around the arrow shaft. mainebuck
Re: Extreem Shrink Fletch I've been wondering how good those work. Seems easier than fletching with a jig.
