Re: Delta\'s \"WhiteTail Buck\" 3D!!!

I have had the Delta "BackYard" buck for 4 years now and its finally crapped out. I never took care of it or kept it out of the weather and I was still shooting at it up until last fall. They are awesome and I never had any issues pulling a carbon out fo the delta 3Ds at all. cool.gif

Ok maybe if you put it threw the hard plastic legs. shocked.gifcrazy.gifLOL

I just dont understand why some guys spend sooooo much on a 3D when these cheap ones get the job done for years and years. Plus I never even replaced the vitals.

If I would of I'd still have it today...

Yeah...but you have to be carefull. Some of their prices are crazy high too. Was just in WM this week. They have boxes of 100, 50 grain, 777 pellets, for $34.99. I can almost buy 2 boxes at the local gunstore for that price. There was no one around, I was gonna ask if it was a mistake, but I put it through one of the price checkers, and sure enough, $34.99

I am on my second Back Yard Buck and I have not had any problems with mine. I have replaced the vitals twice and it got rained on once which made the outer layer a little flaky. I never had a problem pulling arrows unless I shot it into one of the joints.

Re: Delta\'s \"WhiteTail Buck\" 3D!!!

I dont know of ANY 3D target that the sun wont damage over time. Rain will not do what you guys say, its the UV damage from the sun that breaks them down.

However it took 3 to 4 years of hard use and constant weather to make mine unusable. I even leave mine out during the winter. LOL

Looked at that same target when I was in wal mart a couple weeks ago. It was suitable for broadheads, but suggested the use of broadheads would signifcantly shorten the life of the target, so I went with the cube broadhead target instead.
