Turkeygirl
It's amazing people but here I am, with 3 weeks until my senior year at college starts. Where has the time gone? I am going to have alot of decisions to make like "Do I got to college some where to get a degree in Athletic Training?" "Where do I do my internship next summer?" "What does God want me to do?" Ill be working custodial right up to before college starts which is August 29. I got paid yesterday which means I can send my check in to pay for this semester but I have to wait until my next check in 2 weeks to order my textbooks and buy my hunting license which usually goes on sale mid-August. The good news is the earliest class time I have 5 days a week during the semester is 10:00am! And I am already excited and looking forward to squirrel season September 1. I am also thinking about starting to save a little money to get a new bow one of these days.(probably not anytime soon) My bow right now works good but compare it to one of today's bows and you'll see the difference, lol! Ok, so this post has alot of "me" in it but I thought you'd all like to know I'm not like lying around with a sprain or something, unable to come to Realtree, lol! I see that everyone appears to be fairly well on here and I'm sure some of you are getting ready for if not already hunting! God bless people! Tominator
Re: One year to go Good deal Ruth. I can't believe I've been done with under-grad stuff for 14 years now. I do remember the excitement of senior year though. I worked my butt off. I covered 73 quarter hours of work that year because I didn't want to deal with another year of apartment leases and getting all the other stuff dealt with. Good luck this year, and congratulations on being sprain free.

Guest grunter
Re: One year to go Hey TG! Just got home from day two of our swim camp. I have Tom Jager, former world recorder holder in the 50 Free ( 7 Olympic Medals) as the primary camp clinician. Tom gave the group a talk at the end of today's session. I hope this helps - Tom told the kids that it's the decisions in life we make that directs us towards our fate and goals. Stay committed to what YOU want and listen to the voice inside you. Self-talk is a powerful thing. Stay positive and no matter what it is you want, you can achieve it! Good Luck! Grunter (Mark)

Turkeygirl
Re: One year to go Thanks everyone. Part of me is excited and part of me will probably miss certain aspects of this college when it is over. I'm glad I have late class times as that means I hunt in the morning, lol! AKcowboy: I'm taking this semester Environmental Earth Science, Biblical Interpretation, Local Flora & Vegetation, Program Planning, and Methods & Materials of Camps/Outdoor Ed. Grunter and huntn4bucks - it is great to hear from you two!!
Smitteken
Re: One year to go Congrats. Be sure to enjoy your last year as much as you can. My senior year went really fast. Now I've been in the work world for about 10 months. It feels really good to see what I've accomplished, and finally reap the benefits, but the freedom of college is over. Good Luck. aaron
