I was going to say that I knew that it wasn't a banana spider because I figured it had a "real" name, but after searching the web ( Ha, no pun intended) every site says it's called both a golden silk spider AND a banana spider. I always get them on me while driving my ATV down the trails. The only bite they are not poisonous. I hate when they get on your face.
