no quiver for me either. the arrows in it will vibrate and make excess noise, and when its on it is just a hassle because the arrows are sticking all over the place which makes it harder to manuever.

Re: quiver or no quiver?

I use a hip quiver. It lightens up the load in my hand while walking to and from the stand. It makes the bow easier to hold up for extended periods of time (full day of shooting). It keeps the bow balanced better when it does not have all that weight on one side. I hunted about 15 years with a quiver attached to the bow and then I tried a hip quiver. I have been using the hip quiver for 12 years now. I love them.

No quiver when I'm shooting. I use the kwikee- it goes right on the tree once I get up in the stand. Arrows are in reach but not in the way.

on to the stand

off in the stand

Same here.I keep it off because,

1-I don't care if deer can't see color I'm not going to flash my bright fletchings around.

2-I don't want my arrows to hang on a vine or anything else(I like alot of cover)

3-Less noise

4-less weight to hold up

I really don't see an advantage to keeping it on.I hang mine beside my stand fletchings up,and can grab another just as fast as if it were on my bow.

Re: quiver or no quiver?

I do 90% of my shooting with it off. I do practice a little with it on and with different amounts of arrows in it.

If I'm in a treestand, groundblind or any stationary setup, the quiver is off. But, if I'm doing some kind of stalking, the quiver is on.
