spikekiller
Re: bow string In my opinion it really depends on how much you shoot your bow...back in the day when i shot alot of 3-d i wouldnt leave a string go to long...a season at most. Now that i mostly only use my bow for hunting and of course pre-season practice i let it go for a couple of years providing it doesnt get damaged. If you want a good string at a good price check out Berry strings...I bought my last set from him and he did a good job. Also i am hearing alot of good things from Archerytalk.com about a guy named Bucknasty...his strings are getting rave reviews. Hope this helps ya John

archerjg
Re: bow string If the string stays waxed and is shot moderately a few months a year then you could get away with a couple of years. If you shoot year round and a lot then every year would be better. This is according to my bow shop that I go to. I am going to start replacing every year I let my strings go to long (5-7 years) and they were getting in bad shape. Archerjg
