jammin' gun

Re: jammin\' gun

It could be several different things.

1. It could have carbon buildup. Not all powders are as clean as the other.

2. You may have over oiled it. Too much lube can be as bad as too little. The oil/grease holds dirt and grime.

3. Check the condition of the rubber O-Ring. It may be decayed. Sometimes it does not take long.

4. Were you shooting reloads or factory ammo? Even if you were using factory loads, if they were the inexpensive ones, it very well could have been the ammo. I have seen that happen on many occasions.

Hatsan guns are made in Turkey and are imported to North America by Legacy Sports International.

It depends on the gun. Some guns like the Rem like just a little lubrication. They will shoot better dry than wet.

This is very true. I found out many years ago with my Rems while duck hunting in very nasty weather to leave them almost dry in the actions, and they performed great smirk.gif
