Guest deadeye270
yes I think deer move very well during a drizzle. Swing by wall-mart and get one of those "porta-a-roofs" that screw into the tree. That will help keep you dry and on stand longer
huntn4bucks
Re: Bowhunting deer in the rain. I hunted several hours yesterday morning in the drizzling rain and didn't see anything. The weather man said it wasn't suppose to rain until late that afternoon but as luck would have it...it rained that morning instead. I really don't like to bowhunt in the rain. About the only time I like to hunt while it's raining is with a rifle over-looking a food plot. Good luck today if you go!!!
Guest buckfever7
Re: Bowhunting deer in the rain. Spent a few afternoons in the rain (looks like this afternoon will be the same) this year already. Hang one of the Buck Wing tree umbrellas, great deal. Can't hear the deer, but if it's not a torrential down pour they seem to move ok.
Tominator
Re: Bowhunting deer in the rain. the only reservations i have with hunting in the rain is blood trails. you really have to concentrate on making a clean kill shot or else there's a good chance your blood trail will be washed away. i've seen a lot of deer moving in slight inclimate weather. get out there!!!
