Re: glendale buck

If no local store has them you can get them from Bass Pro orCabelas I believe. The layered target is good for one of two good arrows at a time. The arrows spread out the layers and if you hit inside the spread out layers you can shoot though it. The solid 3-d insert is a much better target plus it has 4 sided shooting.

I was thinking of buying a glendale target also, I previously owned a blue ridge target, but it is warn out and time for a new target, so i guess i'll go with the glendale. Let us know how if the other replacement vital works better.

I would rather practice on something smaller. The Glendale is really bigger than most deer so it gives you a sense of having a larger margin for error making it a lousy target. I just shoot the block and cut out 2 inch dots and tape them on. Aim small miss small.

Re: glendale buck

i have been shooting it and its nice stopes arrows just like the block andi only payed 160. not 200. what i do is just like pse said . i cut little circlues out and tape them on over the heart and on in the center of the lungs. that way you can aim small miss small

we use the caps off of a plastic 20 oz or 2 liter pop bottle. drive a nail through it and stick them in the block targets

We use big targets and just put the small orange dot stickers on them.
