I can save about 20-30 cents per gallon gassing up in NJ. When you gas up a Silverado, that could be like a $5 savings making the short trip accross the state line. The price difference is ALL TAXES. Jersey has the gas refineries, so I guess they can charge a little less. I've seen some Jersey gas at 2.29...Thats not bad considering what others are paying. Gas here is now around $2.38 per gallon! Thats just the low grade too! I filled the car up today. Last night as I passed Sheetz gas station near where I work it was $2.19, NOW its $2.29. Up here we are paying $1.00 per liter which translates into $3.79/ US gallon even in US currency that is still $3.15/gallon. In eastern Canada there are places up to $1.11/ liter which is $4.20/ US gallon. In US currency that is $3.49/ gallon. I don't see it going down any time soon.
