huntinsonovagun
Looking to switch from Thunderheads to Muzzy's this season. I'm thinking the smaller head may fly just a little bit better, but I really can't complain too much about the Thunderheads, other than the fact that they are a pain to put on your arrows. So let's have it......Muzzy 100 gr. 3 or 4 blade broadheads and WHY!!! Thanks guys!!
JimT
Re: Muzzy\'s: 3 or 4 blade? The four blades fly better down my setup, So they would have to get my vote.
EIGHTPOINT
Re: Muzzy\'s: 3 or 4 blade? I shoot the 3 blade 125's and 100's. I recently went back to them after using expandables for a couple of years and last year I shot a doe and a decent sized buck. Blew thru both deer like a wet paper bag. Nothing bettter than Muzzy's in my book. Shoot both 3 & 4 blade and see what works best out of your set up.
Chrud
Re: Muzzy\'s: 3 or 4 blade? I like both. But, all things equal (flight wise), I prefer the 4-blades. The main reason...it looks like you took a boring bit to the animal after you shoot it with that head.
TreeWalker
Re: Muzzy\'s: 3 or 4 blade? 4-blades....buy the 6-pak and you'll get the practice blades to boot.... You won't regret using these heads....
Guest tyshe17
Re: Muzzy\'s: 3 or 4 blade? Well, the phrase "if it aint broke dont fix it comes to mind" However, having shot both thunderheads and muzzys, I understand what you mean about the hassel of getting the TH on the arrow. i am shooting the 3 blad 100gr muzzy. THey shoot great as long as you get some o-rings so you can line the blades up with your vanes. I dont know why, but more people seem to use the 3 blades...that is why I went with them, and the fact that I could get a pack with practice blades for $10. Like I said they shoot great, but I am sure the 4 blades do as well.
Tony
Re: Muzzy\'s: 3 or 4 blade? dang it Ryan i wish i had said this before the OK shoot .. i could have brought my Muzzy 3 Bladed 75 grs and let you shoot them.. i like them a lot and they fly great as long as they are spin tuned properly to the shaft ... 3 or 4 blade really doesnt make mush differance .. Shoot Strong Tony

But with the o-ring, does the head come free once there on the arrow shaft?

too_pointer
Re: Muzzy\'s: 3 or 4 blade? Why do so many broadhead makers say now that it isn't that important to line up your heads with your vanes too_
