Guest Squirrelbuster Posted August 12, 2005 Report Share Posted August 12, 2005 Well, I found a great deal on a car. I found a Ford Taurus for $250. It is a 1992 model and it has about 158,000 miles on it. The only things that are wrong with it is there is a little rust torwards the back under the rear passenger doors. And the gas tank can't be filled or it leaks, so the tank has to be filled no more than 3/4 of a tank, and even this I might be able to fix depending on where the leak is. Oh, yeah another problem with it is that it is a Ford, LOL, but I am desperate for a car right now and the price is right for the condition the car is in. The one thing that really ticks me off is that the car has a CD player in it, but the lady that is selling the car wants to take it out, so the original price of the car would have been $300, but because she wants the CD player we asked her to drop $50. So now I have to buy a new radio for the car. I will be getting the car next Thursday, and it should be legal and on the road ready for me to finally take my road test shortly after. Hey, too pointer, I am not very big on Fords, but who knows maybe this Taurus will turn out to be a good car, we will just have to see. The car I was trying to fix before getting this car was a Mercury (aka Ford), and all I was doing to it was pouring money into it to fix it, and I still didn't get it fixed before I gave up and looked for other cars. Well, I will keep updated on when I finally get my liscense, it will probably take a few weeks to get an appointment so it will be a little while. But hopefully I will have it before deer season.
