leatherneck
just wondering if anyone had any tricks to heal up a pulled groin? Softball practice kicked my tail yesterday, and now this morning I can hardly walk

leatherneck
Re: any ideas??? Thanks I am gonna try the ice when I get home. do you mean like a heating pad or like icy hot for the heat? I am a little sceptical of putting icy hot in that area if you get my drift! VTbowman
Re: any ideas??? Heat increases blood flow which heals the damaged area faster. Ice takes away some pain and the swelling on injuries. Just keep that in mind and use both as needed. Limit movement, but not all together, to avoid stiffening muscles. (Thats not code for anything BTW..LOL) Good Luck!

Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: any ideas??? Hey, be careful with the ice. It's easy to get frostbite (seriously!!!) if you ice an area for a prolonged period.

VTbowman
Re: any ideas??? Yes a heating pad works nicely of muscle injuries. Good Note on the ice use too. Normally I can't stand direct ice for more then a few seconds but still some can...
