oo_buck
In the market for a scope to go on my Weatherby Vanguard, in 30/06. What do you guys think of the Nikon Prostaff line of scopes? Also, is this a good place to get one? http://theopticzone.com/detail.aspx?ID=2322
Guest ronin
Re: Opinions Needed..... I like Nikon. Good optics. Their photography glass is supposed to be the best. I'm sure that translates to their scopes as well. Personally, I am a Leupold fan and like their products above all others.
Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Opinions Needed..... Ditto. Nikon is good, but I personally prefer Leupold. I think my next rifle will be a custom job and I may splurge on a new Swarovski for it.
tedicast
Re: Opinions Needed..... I don't think you will be dissapointed in a ProStaff scope. I have a 3x9x40 and I love it. An incredible scope for the money. Only other scope in that price range, that I have used, that I think is it's equal is the Bushnell Elite 3200 series. A few more bucks, but a very good scope too
johnf
Re: Opinions Needed..... I have two of them. For the money you couldn't ask for a better scope. I've looked at the next one up (Monarch or Buckmaster can't remember which) and couldn't tell a difference, but I'm sure there is. To me, it's the best scope you could have for $150.
