fisherguy
Re: Lindros to Toronto It is going to be a banner season for the Leafs...at least from the perspective of a Senators fan. They have really blown it as far as getting some players signed IMO.
superguide
Re: Lindros to Toronto The sad part is they'll sell out no matter what they put on the ice.
VermontHunter
Re: Lindros to Toronto But the real question is does Lindros have anything to really offer with his history of being injury prone ??? And his numbers from when he was a Flyer have considerabley been bleak to say the less... I can't see how he makes a good fit on such a strong team...JMO
SaskMan
Re: Lindros to Toronto I'm curious to see how he does, as well as Allison. Picking up 2 guys that have been off for awhile is a risk. I'm not a leafs fan mind you so I'm not too worried. I confess to never having been much of a Lindros fan though. VermontHunter
Re: Lindros to Toronto Me either Saskman as long as he didn't end up on my Bruins team,,,,all the power to the Leafs..... I just couldn't get over how the Leafs would have even considerd him after the way he shunned them when he was picked by them in the draft..... fisherguy
Re: Lindros to Toronto Lindros was not a good gamble IMO. If he can avoid concussions i think he can be an indimidating presence on the ice, and make a meaningful offensive contribution. The problem is that the chances of him staying concussion free are about 10%.

Muff
Re: Lindros to Toronto ok thats cool....but I still can not belive Toronto took him or Allison, they are both just one hit away from being out again for the year.

[/ QUOTE ] I agree,,Lindros hasn't been the same since Kasperitis nailed him on the blue line in his Flyer's days........As for Allison I never understood the hype over this guy he had one great season with my team the Bruins and nothing after that.......
