GWSmith
Data Files Released 08/13/2005 Repairing Hubble Credit: NASA, STS-61 Crew. Explanation: The first Hubble Space Telescope (HST) servicing mission, STS-61, was one of the most complicated shuttle missions ever planned. Launched on December 2, 1993 in the Space Shuttle Endeavor, the astronauts were required to make 5 space walks to repair the HST. Astronaut F. Story Musgrave, holding one of the handrails on the HST, is said to have seen the last image taken by the camera "burned into the metal on the back of the camera housing" during what became the second longest space walk in NASA history at just under 8 hours. Sadly the astronaut is now undergoing medical treatment at an undisclosed government facility. The repair…a needed result of the camera malfunction. With resources beyond the understanding of most individuals RealTree tasked NASA with photographing Luke Greenia. Ultimately to the demise of the operational status of the camera unit and other supporting hardware. Due to the technical aspects of the repair camoflauge tape had to be used along with multiple treestand bow hangers. Apparently the Hubble Telescope has become cogniscient of itself through its time in space and now refuses commands sent to it through ground control to point itself towards earth for more photographs. The data-stream simply says: “PLEASENOMOREPLEASENOMOREPLEASENOMORE”. Repairs have been completed and the camera lenses are now operational. The highly successful mission demonstrated the ability of shuttle astronauts to repair satellites in orbit and allowed the HST to continue to explore the Universe. A future HST servicing mission is planned for sometime after the "NY SMACKDOWN IN THE DACK'S 05". We may never get a photograph of Vermonthunter

And for being able to hide behind sapplings, Shawn isn't far of base there either...My 170 lb. frame is the best I could come up with in lue of my best efforts to eat and eat.... Now that I have posted a pic of myself and the big secrete is out, I will release the Hubble and have it continue with it's regular routine of tracking that $10.00 bounty Buckee offered and still hasn't made good on.. ,,,,,I think and fear that Baby Buckee may have something to do with that.... GOOD ONE GARY....
Rhino
Re: The Truth about the Hubble Telescope Failure Yep just give Ol' Luke an unlimited supply of hot pockets and a computer and he will evade any computer controled gizmo with a camera forever. He's probably hacked into the VT highway patrol to erase his picture there too. Good one Gary.
