VTbowman
Dude if I ever go back to compounds I will have to try this out. I love a short bow.. Looks awesome to me... I like the unconventional look and orperation. JMO
snapper
Re: Wave of the future or just a gimic????? Yeah I seen that Liberty1 about a month ago...bows keep getting shorter...I'm guessing its the future of a compound bow. Kinda strange looking...and looks scary at full draw...but would be nice to have a bow less than 21" long for in a tree stand. Time will tell if a riser is needed or not...if these things sell and no big complaints, I'm sure you'll see other companies making something simular. Guest Bowhunter2114
Re: Wave of the future or just a gimic????? IMO Technology has taken that bow too far. I personally would never shoot something like that. I would rather go backwards in time and shoot a traditional.

robk
Re: Wave of the future or just a gimic????? well the bow is legit and it has a following including that old guy who won at vegas this past jan. dave was his name and he makes an awesome limb and bow that people buy and shoot when it comes to fita and other big time shoots. any one willing to guess who? rob k
Guest shtr
Re: Wave of the future or just a gimic????? Jenning made something simular in the mid to late '80's I watched it come and go over the course of one market cycle. It something you'd see willie and billie useing to jack deer out of the truck window.
Rhino
Re: Wave of the future or just a gimic????? Just another design that's a little strange to us. That's how it was when I saw the 1st compound years ago too. Looks like anyone using it to hunt better plan on using a hip quiver.
BowtechTurkeyHunter
Re: Wave of the future or just a gimic????? Loos dangerous if there was ever a problem if a limb explodes on one of them uit will tear your face off if a limb explodes on modern bows today they just rip your arm off or it feals like it anyhow that just looks scary... No way would I shoot that or be around anyone that shoots that.
hutchies
Re: Wave of the future or just a gimic????? I think it would be neat to shoot but I don't think I would buy one. Hate to see the pricetag on that thing.

Guest finnlander
Re: Wave of the future or just a gimic????? Looks like a high tech sling shot. It would be fun to try out. As far as gimmick, time will tell. Seems like advances in technology alyways start with a radical new idea and SLOWLY move in that direction. AaronS
Re: Wave of the future or just a gimic????? I've seen a picture of it before and it looks plain weird to me, but that doesn't mean it won't catch on. If there is a market for it, more power to them. hutchies
Re: Wave of the future or just a gimic????? I must have been blind earlier the price tag is right there in plain sight. $699 I just don't see it getting that popular. I think bow making has come just about as far as it can. The best bow in the world will still make not make a bad shooter good.
snapper
Re: Wave of the future or just a gimic????? [ QUOTE ] I think bow making has come just about as far as it can. [/ QUOTE ] Sorry hutchies...I have to disagree on this! I think the bow and arrow technologies aren't even close to what we will see 10-20 years from now. I could be wrong (usally am) but I feel thats why a bow doesn't hold its value like a gun.
