AJ
Has anyone seen the limited run they have for 2005? They have some sweet looking 7600 guns maple stocks and a .35 caliber in a carbine. Too bad its only the .35 Rem. It's calling your name iron buck. If it was the whelen, I would have to get one of those things.

iron buck
Re: Limited Run Remington 7600 guns [ QUOTE ] Perhaps one of the best kept deer hunting secrets, .35 caliber cartridges have been taking deer (and lots of them) for almost 100 years. As a special production run for 2005, we've re-introduced two of the most revered .35's, the .35 Remington and the .35 Whelen, in our best, close-quarters deer gun—the Model 7600. [/ QUOTE ] VERY TRUE! AJ I bought a 7600 in 35 Whelen back in the early 90s when they were in full production. I still have that rifle & will never part with it. What a game stopper. It is amazing what that caliber does to deer & black bears. I NEVER have to trail game after the hit. They stay where they are hit I wish they had a better picture of the maple stocks. I have seen maple that is beautiful........and maple that is very bland. I wonder how these will look close up.
