Tominator Posted December 5, 2002 Report Share Posted December 5, 2002 OUCH. it's hard to even imagine that. nope, never seen that. when i was learning to shoot, i once held my bow hand out without gripping the riser and it fell off my hand as i released, but that's different than what you described. I drop my riser every shot, my wrist strap catches it. I think its funny when people grip their bow and use a wrist strap. Why bother? It just gets in the way if your not using it. There's a huge sign near the bows that reads "DO NOT DRY FIRE BOWS"...so this fool figures he'll let the riser go and he ends up with a crushed nose and numerous stitches in the forehead.
