JJL
Re: Antelope Hunt Auction for Norm Sauceman Is this thing ending at ...12:00am tomorrow night.....8-31-05 which is actually midnight for 9-1-05 which starts 9-1-05.......... or is it .......... 11:59:59 plus 1 second which is 12:00 am on 9-2-05 I guess my question is....Is this thing over on Wed. or Thur. at midnight...........and which time zone??????? Just wondering JJL by the way $1750
buckee
Re: Antelope Hunt Auction for Norm Sauceman Auction ends Midnight 12:00 EST, Thursday, Setember 01 not midnight of the 31st of August There is no end date for the donations folks...keep em coming Might as well make it interesting eh
Team Realtree
Re: Antelope Hunt Auction for Norm Sauceman I'm not going to end it then. We can determine the winner then (if they plan to be out there this year), but the donations are just a bonus. I will collect them until I fly out there (or the rest of the year for that matter). I will let Steve get the money to Norm.
Reloader
Re: Antelope Hunt Auction for Norm Sauceman Just a thought, but if one winner can bring 2 hunters...why not take the top 2 bids if the winner is only bringing one hunter. That maximizes the funds sent to Norm and also gives 2 people the chance to win. something to the effect of: Winner chooses type and time of hunt. The next person in the bidding ladder that can accomodate those dates is offered the chance to join at the cost they last bid.
stevebeilgard
Re: Antelope Hunt Auction for Norm Sauceman you may have read it wrong, reloader. the winning bidder gets a hunt for one. if he wants to bring along a second hunter, it's double the bid price. all for norm, or course! snapper
Re: Antelope Hunt Auction for Norm Sauceman I think what reloader was trying to say is...if the winner of the auction was planning to be the "only" hunter and your willing to take two hunters...why not offer the hunt for "1" to the second highest bidder for the same price. That way it would bring Norm double the money, the same way it would if the winning bidder was bringing a second hunter.

stevebeilgard
Re: Antelope Hunt Auction for Norm Sauceman maybe. if the winner can hit a dinner plate at 20 yards, you'll see his smile over a p&y buck. but, if his shooting is not so good, who knows? lol
