too_pointer
Most of them used to show the shot in slow motion, now you don't see that anymore I kinda enjoyed that ( the animal in me ) LOL Mike

BowtechTurkeyHunter
Re: HUNTING SHOWS, HAVE YOU NOTICED Yeah there isnt alot of that shown anymore but I think it has alot to do with the technology we have much better cameras and such today so you see it once and they figure its good enough time is money in hunting business that time to show a replay in slow motion is a commercial worth thousands. too_pointer
Re: HUNTING SHOWS, HAVE YOU NOTICED Hi bud. I am watching the Tues.nite hunting special, and they just don't rerun the shots anymore. They might on the misses. Maybe Tedley does it on his show and so does Dan Fitzgerald, but the rest, yuk !!!! Turkeygirl
Re: HUNTING SHOWS, HAVE YOU NOTICED The only shows I get to watch anymore are on the Men's Channel and I have notice that some shows, when they shoot, won't even show the shot or the animal going down. they'll kind of do a freeze frame or go to a commercial or just go to the guy with his animal. I enjoy seeing them track the deer or whatever. I also noticed lately a few gut shots on deer with archery equipment but hey, we aren't all perfect. (It annoys me though when the guy will say "I hit him a little far back" and I consider it really far back, lol)

need2hunt
Re: HUNTING SHOWS, HAVE YOU NOTICED I've always enjoyed the slow motion shots also. One that stands out was on one of the double bull blind videos... they took a shot at a buck at 30 yards (if I remember right)... the buck heard the string, ducked and spun catching the arrow with his antlers and flinging it as he turned... In slow motion you could tell that the shot was going to be a perfect double lung shot until the deer reacted... it was amazing
