I'm on the phone with the Canadian Firearms Centre so I can renew my Canadian Firearms License, well I should say WAITING on a dang representive to pick up! Don't ya hate being on hold?! Gosh i've been sitting here for 20 minutes and my supper is on the table, and i'm hungry! As you can tell, i'm bored... I'll shut up now.... I never did get through, I guess I'll try again tomorrow... Yeah I often wonder why we have to go through all of this kafuful to own a dang gun... It sure is one major pain in the rump. When I was selling guns and registering like 5 a day, if I was on hold, I would hang up and call again. The CFC doesn't have a proper phone set up yet. Stupid thing. Whenever I have to make a service call at work and they put me on hold, I just put it on speaker phone. One time, I had left the room and came back to someone on the line going, "Hello! I had the same thing when I first applied for my PAL a few years ago so I wouldn't have to fill out the paperwork and pay the $50 (now $25) each fall when I crossed the border for our annual waterfowl hunt in Manitoba. Their phone service is horrible. Like Palssonator said, it's easier to hang up and call back at random than to sit there on hold for 30 minutes at a time.
