Shaun_300
Re: Trouble with the new dodge Dodge transmissions are definetly not the best ones on the market, and to me, that's what it sounds like it might be. Good luck man!

spyderpancake
Re: Trouble with the new dodge Make sure the parking brake isn't on Seriously, one time my sister drove my brothers truck home from town(10 miles) with the parking brake on. She said that is wouldn't hardly go at first and it made a loud noise and a terrible smell, but after a few minutes it went away! When she drove up there was smoke billowing out. She should have been a blonde
preacherman
Re: Trouble with the new dodge had a jeep (same things as a dodge, just in jeeps clothing!) and it did the same thing. it was a sensor in the transmission. got it fixed and never had another minutes trouble out of it. hope you get it fixed fast! PAhardwoods
Re: Trouble with the new dodge hopefully its just the sensor.....if its something else in the tranny i'm gonna drive it right up there butt they can keep it Cody
Alisha
Re: Trouble with the new dodge All the electronic mumbo-jumbo on all the "new new" vehicles keeps me from getting rid of my '98 neon which has had NO problems at all (knock on wood) and it almost has 100,000 miles on it! Just yesterday, my coworker said her daughter had to take her 2005 Chevy Colorado in for service on the steering - and the truck doesn't even have 1000 miles on it yet! Talk about being mad...... ooh boy, I'd be HOT. Good luck with getting your durango fixed!
christsavedme
Re: Trouble with the new dodge Man hope it is nothing bad. It does sound like it could be a sensor to me. Just take it and get it checked while on the warrenty! Good luck and keep us posted!

Newarcher
Re: Trouble with the new dodge You want my opinion? Go trade it for a Nissan Titan while you can! This will probably be the norm for the Dodge...honestly. You will probably lose the entire transmission around 58 to 60K. JMHO.....I do hope for your sake that it is something simple this time. brad dryden
Re: Trouble with the new dodge Dodge has a very bad reputation with transmisions but it really sounds like a sensor.
Guest bexar_county89
Re: Trouble with the new dodge my best wishes for resolving your problems My advice...trade it QUICK!
Smitteken
Re: Trouble with the new dodge I'm a loyal Ford man, but I'll try and help you. I'd check your plugs and wires. If that doesn't take care of it its probably not good. Honestly dodge doesn't have a great reputation for transmissions. Trade er in on ford!
