horst
Well, I been really busy lately working, getting a little time in with the wife/kids before they head back to school, etc...went into he Iowa outdoors websight 2 nights ago and couldnt believe it.Deer tags had gone on sale that morning.Im usually the first one in line to buy them, the doe tags anyway. There limited in the surrounding counties here and its first come first serve.I went to Clay County first, they had sold out in 2 1/2 hours, tags went on sale at midnight Went to Palo Alto county and there was 48 tags left out of 100.I was getting dressed to make the 30 minute drive to Walmart at 10:00 that night when I seen another post that caught my eye.I was able to buy my tags over the internet without ever leaving the computer So I got 2 of the remaining doe tags and bought my sons early muzzleloader tag which was also limited quota. Now I suppose I better remember where I left my treestands hanging last year

VTbowman
Re: lost track of time I hear ya. I feel like I am definately behind the curve with my hutning prep too. I normally have all stnad s and blinds done and trimmed by now. I just posted the property yesterday and normally have that done well before now. Work has definately postponed a lot of hunting prep for me this summer.
