Gus
I have used the shakey hunter for the past few years and I really like it. When I changed over to it, my groups got tighter and I my shooting improved, so I think I will keep it for awhile longer
Tominator
Re: shakey hunter rest I have the shakey, but while the arrow's not drawn, the prongs won't hold the arrow on the rest. They give you a little piece of felt with a notch in it that, at best, holds the arrow a little. The shakey doesn't really shine until you shoot it IMHO. They may have re-designed it since I put mine on my Legacy 3 years ago, I don't know. Get set to hear the Whisker Bisuit guys and gals, lol. maddhunter
Re: shakey hunter rest As soon as I get my son a new hunting bow I will be putting my WB on his and putting a Shakey Hunter on my Switchback. Or atleast some kind of fallaway, which ever is best at the time.
Tominator
Re: shakey hunter rest [ QUOTE ] The reason I wanted the shakey hunter was because when I do come to draw,I don't have to worry about my arrow falling off like I do with the prongs karen [/ QUOTE ] Well then the Shakey will work just fine. Tony
Re: shakey hunter rest if you arrows are falling off of the prongs when you darw then you have some kind of problem with your shooting form or nock point.. the shakey is a good rest . but my guess is that some how you pinching the nock and that making it come off of the rest... better get checked out at a pro hop or your local archery dealer.. people that shoot fingers pinch the nock a lot and that makes you arrow come off of the rest . are you shooting a dloop on your string ? or an eliminator button ? either of these will cure pinching the nock. unless you d loop is to tight for the nocks... lets us know whats happening....
