Thayer
Re: MO public land??? For all of you Missouri and Illinois guys, this is from our regional director, Matt Finley. Hopefully, our first effort at a banquet will be successful. I could really use some hunts to auction off. We can set a minimum to cover the costs and get you some great advertising also. Please help us if you can. You are receiving this letter to inform you there is a QDMA Banquet coming to your area very soon. The Gateway Branch of the QDMA is holding it’s First Annual Banquet on October 13th, 2005. The location is Andre’s in Fenton 211 South Old Gravois Rd. Fenton, MO 63026, and doors will open at 5:30 p.m. We are very excited and pleased to be able to bring you this event, unfortunately it won’t be complete with out you. The evening will be filled with fellowship, fun, food, and education. There will be many fun raffles, silent auctions, and other activities to help raise funds for the Branch. We are selling raffle tickets for a large gun, bow, and hunting accessory package. The winners will be drawn that night, and tickets for this are on sale now. They are $20.00 for 1, 3 for $50.00, or 6 for $100.00. Items on this package include guns from Weatherby, Benelli, Marlin, a Hoyt bow and much, much, more. These funds raised will help the Gateway Branch to produce many educational QDMA seminars, Short Course weekends, and Field Days for hunters in your area. As you already know the QDMA is the Nation’s leading Whitetail Conservation Organization on education and research for its members and deer hunters across the Country. The night will include guest speakers Dr. Grant Woods of Woods and Associates and Lonnie Hansen. Dr. Woods is one of the Nations most notable professionals on deer management, habitat management, and technology. He will be giving a seminar type lecture during the evening, and explaining the benefits of Quality Deer Management. Lonnie Hansen will be on hand to answer questions concerning deer hunters in Missouri. Tickets for the event are $35.00 for a single and $50.00 for a couple. Not only will these tickets get you in the door and allow you to enjoy a fabulous time, but it also includes a one year membership to the QDMA, and a subscription to Quality Whitetails the most informative piece of literature on Deer Management in the country. Sponsor tickets are available for $215.00, and include the same as above, but with QDMA sponsor benefits. Corporate Sponsor tables are being sold for this event. Corporate Sponsor tickets will admit 8 people, and will include 1 sponsor membership as well as 3 regular memberships to the QDMA. Corporate Sponsor tables will be reserved, and seated at the front of the room with notification of the Corporate Sponsor. The price for these tickets is $400.00. We hope you will be able to join us for a fun night. For more information on how to purchase tickets, or more information on the event that night please contact the Gateway Branch [email protected] or simply give them a call @ 314.221.6111 or 636.461.1746. I hope you will find the time to attend. We also need volunteers to help with the events that night. We are looking for people to help with ticket sales, donations, and overall production of the event. If you feel you might be willing to participate in this event please contact the guys with the numbers provided above, or give myself a call on the mobile number listed below anytime day or night.
