buckee
Re: GREAT POPE & YOUNG OPPORTUNITY I wish I could win the lottery tonight. Thhat's one species I would just love to bow-hunt someday. I sure hope the bids get up there. The hunt itself would be absolutely awesome, but the reason this hunt is being offered up for bidding is the most awesome thing of all. Love ya Norm
Tony
Re: GREAT POPE & YOUNG OPPORTUNITY Steve i did bid on the hunt , but i didnt realize how expensive a 3 day antelope hunt is .. it is kind of rushed, i wish that this could have been offered back in say april. then im sure i could have been able to go , but i went to my max i can afford right now.. i really want to tag an Antelope with bow and maybe i will book something with you in the future.. do you have a website on pricing ? Thank You for offering this up for Norm i think its very generous and gracious of you to do so.. Shoot Strong Tony
ruttinbuc
Re: GREAT POPE & YOUNG OPPORTUNITY Steve, I'd love to come out and spot and stalk an antelope. Or even shoot the breeze at the waterhole. Trouble is there are only so many dollars to go around. When you factor in the cost of the tags, the travel and the likelihood of getting a P & Y prairie goat to mount it can become pretty darn expensive for the average guy. Then there is a matter of getting the time off to do it. I am sure that most vacations are already set. I am already headed to Kansas the week before. Had I known beforehand and had the cash and the time I'd be on it like white on rice. This close to the hunt makes it tough. I really appreciate what you are doing for Norm. Its a great thing. Tominator
Re: GREAT POPE & YOUNG OPPORTUNITY Yours truly has the top bid so far, but sure hope it goes a lot higher than it is right now.
VermontHunter
Re: GREAT POPE & YOUNG OPPORTUNITY I hope folks realize and Im sure they do,,but I'll mention it again.... Even tho you don't intend on winning or if you aren't even interested or have the time to go on this hunt,,,a $$$ contribution can be made and added to the winning bid.....so please atleast give something even if you think it's too small,,,every dollar goes to Norm and his wonderful family......everything you give just adds to the amount that is so needed and can be used...... And something else I have noticed on some of the replies,,,,you don't have to use this hunt this season you can hold off and go next season,,so there's no rush on this year......it's like having a hunt in the bank for next year.... GOD BLESS !!
