VtBowhunter
Re: Bug Spray This may sound a bit odd, but ScentKiller seems to keep the bugs away for some reason........we use it on the 3D archery courses when the bug spray won't touch the skeeters. maddhunter
Re: Bug Spray I use Permanone on my clothes and head net. Don't have any skeeter bites nor ticks. The smell goes away after it dries. Not to mention I use Scent Killer before I go to my stand also.
maytom
Re: Bug Spray You have to try a Therma-Cell unit. They now make two models, one for controlling insects, and now a new one called Therma-Scent for use with deer lures. I've been using the Therma-Cell unit now for two years while turkey hunting, and it works awesome. You can use this for deer hunting as well, since it doesn't omit any odor that spooks deer. http://www.mosquitorepellent.com/

[/ QUOTE ] I'll second this..... great stuff......treated my clothes the day before spring turkey season...re-treated them for the last weekend...(Our season covered 3 weekends).... the whole time, I found one tick on me, and now skeeter bites.... This stuff is the way to go....
