LifeNRA
What do you do when your up 20-30 feet in a tree, in bow season, and mother nature says you drank too much fluid? Only reason I ask this, yesterday while walking around Gander Mountain's archery department. I found this bottle that you "go in". So do you all actually use this? hobie
Re: Ok! Here Is A Good Question!!! LOL!!! Hold it as long as you can then get out of the tree quick so not to pee yourself LOL
Guest shtr
Re: Ok! Here Is A Good Question!!! LOL!!! Forget a bottle. There has been enough testing to tell that deer dont respond to urine other than to be curious. Alot of guys do thier own mock scraps with thier own urine and are successful. If you just dont dare then try the X-Tra Bladder pouches. I had to try them and they work GREAT! Good as hand warmers for awhile after the fact too! tedicast
Re: Ok! Here Is A Good Question!!! LOL!!! I use zip-loc bags . I carry a couple sandwich size bags, and a one gallon freezer bag to put the used bags in for added leak protection.

Nut
Re: Ok! Here Is A Good Question!!! LOL!!! We have went by areas where the "call of nature" has happened. It seems to attract the deer....if I could get past the smell it would be a good spot to be..
Tony
Re: Ok! Here Is A Good Question!!! LOL!!! while it might not disturb small bucks and does , what about mature animals ? no one really kniows for sure do they.. so in that case i opt to not do it... seems kind of crazy to prep all our gear with scent elimination stuff , wear scent loc , watch the wind and do everything we can to control our scent and then just pee out of our treestand ? i know im not going to take a chance by blowing it by peeing out of my tree.. i carry a placstic bottle for that reason with a freezer bag to double seal it.. [ QUOTE ] Save time and money.....I've gone right out of the stand and haven't seen it disturb the deer. [/ QUOTE ] I just can't get past te fact, that all I do in the name of scent control.that I'm throwing it all out the window by peeing off my stand. I can smell the difference in my urine depending on what I eat. If I can smell a difference, how is a deer not gonna be able to notice a foreign smelling urine? VermontHunter
Re: Ok! Here Is A Good Question!!! LOL!!! LOL,,You know the funny thing is when I first met VTBowman and showed up at his place to go on a hunt with him,,,I had this 3 liter soda bottle, with a wire attached to it strapped to my backpack,,,,he asked me what it was for when I told him he laughed at me and said just let her fly from the stand,,the deer don't care..... Well it must be true becuase last season I stopped using the urine bottle and had does come into the stand I was in...... ,,,one less thing for me to carry in and out of the woods..... Rhino
Re: Ok! Here Is A Good Question!!! LOL!!! From my experience deer react differently to it in the different states I've hunted. Here in MS I've seen deer turn inside out after they got a wiff. In some other states I've hunted there seemed to be virtually no reaction at all except curiosity. I agree with Tony though. I opt to stay on the safe side now. No matter where I'm hunting I don't see any reason not to take every precaution possible to reduce human scent when hunting for mature bucks. I carry a plastic bottle or 2 depending on how long I intend to stay in the stand. I don't see any need to buy some specially made storage container for it though. dogdoc
Re: Ok! Here Is A Good Question!!! Tominator
Re: Ok! Here Is A Good Question!!! LOL!!! Go before you head to the stand whether you have the urge to or not. If you still have to go once you're there, I've done one of a few things--hold it, hang it, or if I'm in a ladder stand, get down, walk 40 yards downwind, scratch a mock scrape, urinate, return to stand.
