Well coming up on 1 year in our newly built home with only one big problem....where to hunt out back....lol....seen a few deer here and there with some pics below from the trail camera...but just not sure how to hunt my back yard.....its pretty big......with a creek....hardwoods....cedars.....but no crops...we do have a newly built retention pond...where a few deer come out to....umm...other than that life is good out in the country.....lots of big snakes (my wifee hits them with the lawn mower all the time),bugs, coons coyoto's....and cool sounding birds in the morning..my 10 yr.even camp out back with a friend and had plenty of chigger bites to prove he made it through the night.....kinda rugged back there.....we call it the little smokies....yup this old city boy is settling in just fine....now if only they would build a mall nearby for the wife....lol Life is good in the country...(my web page)

Re: New home....life is good in the country...exce

I live just south of Dayton Ohio...oh I have about 100 acres behind me and not a neighbor behind me for a mile or so....I did plant some deer seed by the retention pond.....yeah I don't mind having some neighbor's next store to me......just didn't want them behind me.....you know they are good for helping you fix a flat and taking your boy trick or treating for free candy or borrowing their roto-tiller and breaking it......lol ! Come on over Tominator......there's plenty to do..:)
