hangunnr
Was out fine tuning the .375 yesterday. On the first shot I saw something flip off the gun. At first thought I was thinking maybe a turret cover had come loose from the scope, then I saw the hammer extender laying on the bench. I've put thousands of rounds through this gun without any issues. I've only put about 100 rounds since the addition of the extender....... The set screw of the extender wasn't anywhere near the point of failure but I gotta believe the added weight it puts on the hammer did the damage. Repairing the gun isn't a real issue but the chance of a ruined hunt is a real possibility. I'd hate to have traveled somewhere and have a failure like this. Check your guns over if you are using a product similar to this..... hangunnr

[/ QUOTE ] That's what I thought at first glance but the break was a good 1/8th inch in front of the set screw. hangunnr
