Re: What does he score?

Like I said in your other post I shot one a couple years ago that's very similar to the wide 8 in your pic. Heres a pic of mine (little distorted height wise due to it being taken off a video) next to yours plus the measurements from mine...

40962003buck2.jpg15456jpg0089_seven_only.JPG

IS = 19 - 4/8

LMB = 23 - 0/8 RMB = 23 - 0/8 Deductions = 0

LG1 = 3 - 4/8 RG1 = 3 - 4/8 Deductions = 0

LG2 = 8 - 0/8 RG2 = 8 - 0/8 Deductions = 0

LG3 = 6 - 0/8 RG3 = 7 - 4/8 Deductions = 1 - 4/8

LC1 = 5 - 0/8 RC1 = 4 - 6/8 Deductions = 0 - 2/8

LC1 = 4 - 2/8 RC1 = 4 - 1/8 Deductions = 0 - 1/8

LC1 = 3 - 5/8 RC1 = 3 - 6/8 Deductions = 0 - 1/8

LC1 = 3 - 0/8 RC1 = 3 - 1/8 Deductions = 0 - 1/8

LT = 56 - 3/8 RT = 57 - 6/8 DT = 2 - 1/8

(LT + RT + IS) 56 - 3/8 + 57 - 6/8 + 19 - 4/8 = 133 - 5/8

(TTL - DT) 133 - 5/8 -- 2 - 1/8 = 131 - 4/8

The missing browtine will hurt your deers score and I think he is shorter on MB's and IS than mine. Still a nice deer and would look good with you behind him holding his antlers!!

Re: What does he score?

there is two ways of looking at htis and i was trying to figure out what he length of the main beams were vs's the other points and i don't think you have a p&y this year but the one looking at you could be by next yar they both look pretty young maybe 3 to 3.5 but need a couple of years more to make it right. if i was going to shoot one of the two is would be the one looking at he camera

Re: What does he score?

I was thinking between 125-130. The thing that he has going for him right now is the width. If you give him a year or maybe even two his mass and tine length will catch up. As hard as it may sound....... you might want to hold off on shooting him if given the chance. He could be a 150" buck in couple years.
