huntrman
I know most people here have chosen the yellow jacket target for broadheads, but I was wondering what the best target for field points is. I am looking to buy one, but I'm not sure what to get. Mind you I am on a budget and don't want something too expensive, but I want it to last. Suggestions please! Thanks. hutchies
Re: Field Tip Target I bought the 4x4 target wal mart sells and it has lasted me 3 seasons now and I leave out in the rain and sun. I have put thousands of field points shots into it and I still have 10-12 inches sticking out everytime after all these shots.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Re: Field Tip Target we use the block target for field points....there are 3 of us that shoot every weekend and my one cousin who keeps it at his house shoots about 3 times during the week so we get about 700 arrows in it in an average week.....we have been doing this since we bought the target last fall and it has held up really good....as long as you take care of it and DON'T shoot broadheads in it i think they will last a while....ours has tons of shots in it and its not even close to having pass throughs....should last us another year or maybe longer
