HarvDog
What type of harness, actually the part that attaches to the tree, do folks prefer when using a climbing treestand, one with a safety line or a strap?
tedicast
Re: Safety Harness with Climbing Stand I use the Summit, seat of the Pants. It has the rope with the prussic knot that goes around the tree. I think it is a little easier to use with the climber than a strap.
bowhtr1
Re: Safety Harness with Climbing Stand I am getting one like LifeNRA has at deerhuntinggear.net. That is what I have been looking for. I saw it in my buckmasters magazine July issue.

The safety rope with the prussic not is a lot easier to move up and down the tree. I like the vest I got, but the strap is harder to move. Ill just use the rope that came with my stand, just connect it to the strap of my vest.
