I hope you find out who the guy is. Hopefully the moron didn't take any pop shots at the deer (or anything else for that matter!) you've been getting pictures of! GRRRR stuff like this makes me sooooooooooo mad!

I'm assuming these pics were taken when you were gone on vacation?

Squirrel season open in Indiana recently??

probably what he's doing.......but no camo????

[/ QUOTE ]

He's trespassing AND got himself on a trail cam while trespassing - probably not smart enough to wear camo either grin.gifgrin.gif

"That's funny right there..."

Not a funny situation though. I'd try and stake him out or like suggested, circulate the photo and see who it is.

ohiobucks caught a tresspasser on his trailcam last year. Don't think we ever did figure out who it was.

Re: Caught a tresspasser

Looks like a squirrel hunter to me. I killed a lot of squirrels in a green shirt and blue jeans when I was in my teens before I had much camo.

I would start my hunting season early by hunting him down, then let him know that I better never catch him on my property again. Let him know that you have his picture and so does the game warden. Good luck and keep us posted.

Sucks that people are one your property. You probaly will catch up to hime eventualy.

AS for the gun, I rarly go into the bush without one. That's just when you'll come eye to eye with a wolf, coyote, or a bear. At this time of year with bear around, the 12 ga is loaded and ready.

get 'em and whip his rump!

yes, and shooting a bear would be considered illegal

Re: Caught a tresspasser

Not to sound like a critic of what ya'll are saying, but whatever happened to sportsmenship and just finding out if the guy is unfamiliar with the property lines and ,like some of you said, he is out squirrel hunting. He may be a poacher or a father of 3 with no place to hunt or just simply lost or got involved with all of the good sign of deer in the area and not meaning to tresspass. I have a buddy who has a pretty good policy on tresspassers. He will approach them and at first act like he is just asking if the people saw anything or not. Then if he judges them to be honest about what they are doing on his property, he either gives them permission to hunt it or calls the warden with their license plate. As long as they let him know they are there and what they are doing, he doesn't have a problem and he let's them know where he doesn't want them to hunt and where it's okay to hunt and they can sometimes be beneficial in helping you spot buck patterns or culling the doe numbers in a herd or area. A picture says a thousand words, but the observer decides what they want to hear. JMO

I am by no means telling you what to do with your own property. I just like to provoke thought.
