Guest Broncho10 Posted October 29, 2004 Report Share Posted October 29, 2004 Two days ago my grandpa saw a nice deer chasing a doe on my uncles land. Yesterday evening my cousin shot that deer while it was with a doe, it was her first real good buck. It was a heavy 12 point with a lot of palmation, kickers and 6 inch brow tines. They haven't put tape on it yet, but we figure it will gross high 130's to low 140's. If I get a pic of it I will post it. She is a jr. in high school and has hunted since I can remember. I was excited for her, she has put plenty of time and work into this sport and deserves this deer. The weird thing is that deer was with that doe already. It not like he was just checking her or pestering her, he was actually with that doe for a full 24 hours before she shot him. I thought it was a little early for does to start coming in, but I guess it wasn't for that doe. I myself haven't seen or heard of any deer in my area chasing or pushing does.
