Guest kunegos
Any input on a good camo backpack? I would like it to be hydration compatible and in Realtree camo. Decent amount of storage, but not too big. Mainly for taking to my stand, not camping.
johnf
Re: Camo Backpacks I use a fanny pack with accessory pouch & bottle. It has room for everything I need including a pretty decent snack.
LifeNRA
Re: Camo Backpacks I have these two packs from Cabela's, the daypack and just got the fanny pack. The daypack has the water bag pouch for the hydration needs. I just got the fanny pack because I needed a way to carry a few items since the climber will be on my back! tedicast
Re: Camo Backpacks I use the Cabelas Elite Scout pack. Not the biggest pack, but well balanced, and very comfortable. The compression pocket is great for extra clothes.Actually, I'm wearing it in my sig picture. My jacket is throught the compression pocket so the pack looks a little bigger. Guest kunegos
Re: Camo Backpacks Tedicast- That is definitely along the lines of what I'm looking for. I was checking out the Camelbak packs today. They seem really nice, a little pricey though. Do you have the regular or large model? Thanks. tedicast
Re: Camo Backpacks I have the large model. I have also looked at the camel bak striker. It is a very nice pack. Doesn;t have the compression pocket, but has a few smaller pockets which i liked. They are on Ebay for around $60. Thought about getting one of those for warmer weather, when I'm not carrying extra clothes. Camel Bak Striker
Guest kunegos
Re: Camo Backpacks Yeah I was looking at that one and the Ranger. Actually I found great deals on them at nashbar.com. The only snag was that they are only MOBU, no Realtree $50 for the Ranger, $40 Striker if anyone is interested....
tedicast
Re: Camo Backpacks The striker for $40 is a pretty good deal. Cheapest I have seen it on ebay is $
