Turkeygirl Posted August 25, 2005 Report Share Posted August 25, 2005 So besides feeling tired and burned out this week, I come home to find out that in order to get a new contact lens, I have to go get my eyes checked! Ugh, I'm a college student with only 1 day a week that I'm really free and now I get to look forward to going to the eye doctor sometime in the near future. I hate medical appointments with a passion!Ok, so the last time I had my eyes checked was like 2001 but if anything changed, I would noticed. I only have 1 contact lens because when I was 8, a pine needle poked me in the eye, destroying the real lens and that had to be removed, meaning I wear a contact lens in order to see out of my right eye and I do use that eye when shooting the bow, otherwise I learned to shoot the gun left handed. Will you all tell me an eye check-up isn't as bad as I make it? I'm just so sick of doing all this stuff and I need a break!!!! I have eye problems that require lots of trips to the eye doctor and none of them are ever bad (except that puff of air thing they do! LOL) Go get it checked out...I would be worried about a doctor that would just give you the prescription since you haven't been for so long. There are lots of things that can only be seen with their optical tools and it is a lot better to catch that stuff early than to wait until you are noticing it. I think the part I hate most, besides missing good time being out hunting, is reading the letters out loud! And the air poof thing is kind of nasty,lol. I hate the air poof thing fortunately since I switched jobs and I have less stress my eye sight is much better I dont even have to wear glasses weird how stress does strange things to you like that.
