johnf
Anyone ever shoot one? What kind of quality are they? The are really inexpensive and I'd like to get a 357 mag. I usually shoot about 3 or 4 boxes of shells a year, so I'm not worried about getting your top of the line gun, just something that I could carry into the woods for a short shot on a yote or renigade wild dog. ZooBear
Re: Rossi Hand gun My shooting buddy had one and it did well for about 2000 rounds. Then it started to shake apart and had timing problems.
spyderpancake
Re: Rossi Hand gun They are the same thing as a Taurus. My brother has a snubby in .38 special and it is a great shooting little gun.
hangunnr
Re: Rossi Hand gun [ QUOTE ] They are the same thing as a Taurus. [/ QUOTE ] Not even close to the quality of a Taurus. The Rossi guns are without question very near the bottom of the quality list. If you have one, and it works, then it's a keeper. They are known to shoot loose after a short while. They aren't what I would bet my life on. hangunnr
ZooBear
Re: Rossi Hand gun I agree with handgunnr. They are not the same as a Taurus! Another thing to think about is they have NO resale value at all! I would pass it by and buy a quality used gun for the same money. Good luck! johnf
Re: Rossi Hand gun They do say that they have all the Taurus saftey features, which implies that they are the same gun with a different stamp. I thought the same thing. Don't feel bad.

Give them some time to use up the NOS Rossi has and you should see their guns up to the same standards as the Taurus. hangunnr
