VermontHunter Posted August 28, 2005 Report Share Posted August 28, 2005 I worked an 18 hour day Sat. and when I got home the wife says you got a package today.....I knew Rhino was sending me something but had no idea it was this.....Man what a suprise.....all I can say is he's the man,,,,,,and the people here can't be beat,,,it must be Christmas early for me or something because I have no idea why these great people are sending me things,,,,, Thanks Al,,,,I just got done watching this and man what a DVD,,and VTBowman is chomping at the bit to get his hands on it... Here's what Rhino (Al) sent me along with this letter.... " Howdy Guys, Well at long last I finally got the videos in from Gene Wensel I've been axiously waiting on. This is a new video that Gene and Barry Wensel, along with the Mitten brothers put together this year. This hunting video is nothing like any other video on the market. Here's exactly what Gene told me in an email he sent to me back in June while he was still in the finishing stages. "This thing is going to blow your socks off. It belongs in theaters. Grown men will choke up and women will weep. We've spent our lives telling everyone that where you hunt is more important than when or how . Now I realize that "why" is far more important than all three of the previous" I was honestly a little surprised about Gen's realization about why we hunt. I agree to, this video emphasizes why we hunt. It has a little bit of everything from breathe taking scenery, turkey hunting, moose, elk, to monster whitetail deer. Hope y'all enjoy it as much as I did watching it for the first time last night. Take care and keep dreaming. P.S. After you hard core deer hunters see the footage, you will understand why I'm a little disapointed I'll be videoing for fun in Iowa this November as opposed to carrying a stick and string. Oh well, at least I'm a shoe in to draw a tag to bowhunt in Iowa next year. You guys may never know because I think Alan prefers to go anonymous with these things. I about had a heart attack when I opened a letter from him last April.
