Guest deadeye270
Just thought I would get you guys fired up the way I was last night. Let me set the seen...... I live inside the city limits in a city just outside of charlotte. I live in a neiborhood with lots that are only about 1/3acre, but I do have a block of woods behind my house and I have had a corn feeder up for a few years just so the whole family can watch deer, birds, squirels, etc. I have typically only seen does, fawns, and the ocasional spiker. All that changed last night.... I turned on the floodlights about 12 last night to find a nice batchelor group standing within 20 yds of my back door. One was a very nice 8pt. He will not make P&Y and probably score in the 105-115 range. Keep in mind though I'm in the carolinas. People around here put 95-105 class deer above the fireplace. The 8pt was there with 2 young 6pts (2.5yr olds) they were about 14-15in inside spread. The 8pt was probably about 16-18in inside spread, 4in brows, 7-8in g2s, 3-4in g3s. I was able to watch them for about 2hrs and got the big one on video tape. I am trying to see if I can load it on the computer to get your guys opinion. Either way, he was a stud shooter for these parts.

Guest deadeye270
Re: behind the house sighting!!! Right now the deer are in York Co. and the only city laws are that I cannot discharge a firearm. But shooting a bow is perfectly legal. Guest deadeye270
Re: behind the house sighting!!! Brother in law is a cop and I have already checked with him..... he verified that the punishment for shooting my wife's pet deer would be much worse than the state/city violations,
