HeviShot
My broadheads are hitting low and my mechanical a little left.I can lower my poundage and get my broadheads on or I can move my sights slighty and rest and correct my mechanicals. My bow is all the way up which is 70lbs.So would you loose a little for the broadheads are keep the juice up for the mechanicals? BowtechTurkeyHunter
Re: What would you choose? Depends mechanicals are kinda iffy but the broadheads are sure thing not sure why you cant adjust the sight for the broadheads that seems kinda weird unless your sight is bottomed out in which case you should be able to make it work with the broadheads. HeviShot
Re: What would you choose? I am shooting Interlocks and shockwaves, and field tips.I adjusted my sights and now I'm grouping the mechanicals and field tips.My broadheads are lined up straight but they just shoot low.If I move my sights or turn the bow down then my practice will be off. BowtechTurkeyHunter
Re: What would you choose? I guess I dont understand still why you cant adjust your sights for the broadheads or whatever you are gonna shoot.... a lot of times the broadhead whichever you shoot dont match the field tips so you have to adjust your sight or get your bow tuned so they do shoot the correct way you will hardly ever get a bow to shoot all 3 perfectly. HeviShot
Re: What would you choose? According to the book I can fix my broadhead problem by Lowering my nock or lowing my rest or lowering bow poundage. If I do any of the above it will change my practice alot. GWSmith
Re: What would you choose? Shoot the Mech's You know right where they will go...that's the important part IMO You could try to adjust your sights to bring in your broadheads dead center and see just how much your fieldpoints change. Whatever you choose...Get your broadheads of choice shooting exactly where you want the arrow to go. Your not hunting with the fieldpoints
HeviShot
Re: What would you choose? I really wanted to shoot broad heads but I believe if ya put it in the boiler room with any quality head it will do a good job.

[/ QUOTE ] Thats what I had to do to get my FT's and BH's to hit the same spot. FT's were dead on, BH's were low. I lowered the nock about 1/8", now they are both shooting the same. This was without lowering the poundage.
hutchies
Re: What would you choose? You are not always going to make a perfect shot. There is always a chance of the deer taking a step or moving as you squeeze the release.

Guest tyshe17
Re: What would you choose? I would do whatever i have to do to shoot the fixed blades. You have more than enough poundage and at less you can hold for longer. even if you have to move your sights (which I did) it is worth it to know you have the exact broadhead you want on the end of your arrow. either way you have to move stuff so i would shoot fixed.
