mathews4life
Re: What\'s the best deer stand name you\'ve had? Got a few.. 1.Bigfoot- box stand that is about 25 ft. up the air and that is just plain big. 2. Twin towers- This one is kinda sentimental. We had and old box stand that was there for yrs and was pretty torn up so we replaced it w/ another, but left the old one there just for memories and labled them the "twin towers" 3. Brown Stand- Simply bc the tin is painted brown. 4. Nick-knock- Bc its loud and made of tin and the slightest movement either makes a nick or a knock

Tetro
Re: What\'s the best deer stand name you\'ve had? Most of our stands our named after the hunter who built it. Like Brian's stand Johnnys stand or Johnnys old stand. We used to have a spot called the rock pile. Basically what it was, was a pile of rocks in the middle of a plowed field. Two years ago the farmer remove the pile, so we built a 4'x4' stand on stilts just on the edge of the field. I guess this would be a weird name for stand now, because we call that The Rock Pile now. Mach1
Re: What\'s the best deer stand name you\'ve had? Four corners - Took my 143" 9 pt from this one last year and the year before my brother took a half-rack and a doe on back-to-back days. Corner where a two fencelines, and the outside corner of a woods meet. Crop fields on two sides and a food plot on another. Tree field - On a ridge in a bottleneck between a crop field and a 2-acre patch of tree seedlings we planted a few years back. My dad missed a 150" buck at 15 yds last year with his bow from here. It's a 10ft solid oak, homemade ladder stand. Bottom field - Pretty self explanatory. My brother and I each have hang on stands. One is his stand, the other is mine and that's how we refer to those two. Most of our stands don't have names, but the places we hunt do and that how we know our stands.
