Re: Realtree forums v.s. Mossy Oak

Even though I own some MO, Realtree is my home! I am slowly changing all my camo! Bad thing is not everything I want is, or has Realtree. Just like the treestand I just bought!

I believe they just started there forums. Hopefully they will have good success like things are here! Last thing we need is a camo war!

I enjoy getting a back east perspective from RT, very high quality people. MM is home for me.

Well said Beanman!

I often dream about a hunt "Out West" and I'm a certified Lurker at the MM board wink.gif

IMHO if you want to see some awesome Monster Mulies...it's the best!

It's not about if we hunt or not...it's about where we hunt and not all of us have a choice on where we can go(or what camo we can use or is availible to us).

Re: Realtree forums v.s. Mossy Oak

I've not been to the Mossy Oak website and didn't realize they had a forum, but if they just started it, it isn't fair to compare membership numbers. While I may prefer RT camo patterns, I hold nothing against someone who prefers a different pattern. I also enjoy many of the shows that MO has on the Outdoor Channel. We hunters have enough outside forces working against us, we don't need to have silly trivial arguments in our midst.

Re: Realtree forums v.s. Mossy Oak

I love Realtree and enjoy being on this website........ but man, can we sometimes be critical and judgemental of others and their companies. I honestly, in my own opinion, believe that if we are not going to be allowed to make crack comments about Matthews and PSE and Hoyt and all of these other companies in other parts of this forum, that these type things ought not be allowed either. I personally have come in contact with Toxy Haas from Mossy Oak and know that he is a good guy that does a lot of good for the community. Mossy Oak is a good company with a lot of good people working for them, just like Realtree. Sorry for the vent.
