But if you are looking for a big mature buck, than that one will be a candidate in two years. Deal is, everyone wants to shoot a mature, big buck like we see in the magazines and videos. Yet continue to take the small bucks and wonder where the big bucks are. It is a tough subject for some but on my farm, that buck walks. Thats why we kill the large bucks that we kill. Everyone worries about their neighbors shooting all the bucks, so go ahead and take what you can. I think people give too much credit to their neighbors.....way too much. Good Luck!
