I just got it completely finished. I tryed it out the other night and called up two coyotes "I think", it started getting foggy about 11:00 so I wasn't completely sure what they were, so I didn't shoot. I'll try it again next week.

Thats a cool idea, but not legal here, so I'll just admire it. No shooting from any motorized vehicle, to bad, I sure like the design wink.gif

How much did it cost you to build or was it bought?

[/ QUOTE ]

It cost me about $70 to build, but I was able to save some money getting some of the material from the medal dumpster at work.

The only thing I had to buy was the chair, angle iron. and the stub axle and hub for the swivel.

I might have to bug you for some plans to build my own like that

[/ QUOTE ]

Sure, I would have to draw it out for you. I had the plans in my head. LOL

Re: My night hunting chair.

I like it..looks comfy!

Those of you bemoaning being able to hunt from a vehicle....2 thoughts.

First you could use the truck to get the chair in the field then move it to the ground...

and second many areas will waive most of their normal hunting regulations if the landowner obtains a depredation permit stating that the animal being hunted is damaging his crops or livestock. I used to spotlight jackrabits from the back of a pickup in alfalfa fields under California's Depredation laws.
