Best brand of boots

Well yesterday I just bought a pair of Lacrosse AlphaBurly Sport in Forest Green boots, size 7 and they fit and feel really nice! The store also had the Alpha Burly Sport of Realtree Hardwoods with 800 Insulation but I didn't want to pay the price and I have a pair of boots for cold weather. I think you just have to try didn't boots on and find what you like and will suit what you are using them for.

Re: Best brand of boots

i got some diving booties this year, if i can't hunt barefooted then these are the next best things....regular boots stop you from feeling the ground, i scared more deer away walking through the woods last year because i had regular boots on, i ended up taking them off and i really thought about just leaving them in the woods.....i like to be able to sneak around unheard...

You didn't mention the temperatures you will be hunting in, so for warmer weather I recommend Orvis boots....They aren't well known for them, but they should be! I have a pair that keep my feet warm and dry every time I wear them. When it gets cold I wear my lacrosse boots, and don't forget good socks!

I work in the footware department at Sportsmans warehouse so i try on shoes all the time!! The ones that i have always liked are the Danner Pronghorns. I know that they make them in womens sizes and with insulation up to 1000 grams. They are also waterproof!!
