With tears....

I said good-bye to my brother today. He heads to base at midnight tonight then catches a flight for Iraq. My girls, my parents, and myself spent the afternoon with him and his wife and 3 boys. We grilled up some steaks and chicken and watched some Outdoor Channel together. We then all gathered together and I lead us all in a prayer--for his safety, for his wife and kids, and for the rest of the soldiers serving our Great Country.

I have this lump in my throat and a horrible home sick feeling but I am confident the Good Lord will take care of him as well as his fellow Army Soldiers.

Again I ask all of you to remember him in your prayers as well as the other US Soldiers serving our Country.

God Bless the USA

Re: With tears....

I know exactly what you are going through Todd. One of the hardest things I ever went through was the send off of my brother to Vietnam. With prayers from many he made it home from that chapter in history.

I too pray for for your brother's well being while he serves his country for you, his family, and his brothers in arms. God Bless the USA!
