Adjam5
Re: switchback and arrow combo Take a look at the Beman 380-16's. Incredible penetration
maddhunter
Re: switchback and arrow combo Gold Tips are the best for the buck IMO. I went with Vapor 5000s this year and I love them, although they cost a little more than GTs.
too_pointer
Re: switchback and arrow combo There are many good arrows out there, it would be nice to find an archery shop that would let you try a few different ones out. Gold Tips are certainly very popular too-
VTbowman
Re: switchback and arrow combo In my compound days I shot Bemans and Gold Tips and prefered the GTs between the 2. Now That I am trad only shooter, but still shoot carbons, I have been extremely impressed with the Carbon Express Terminator. It goes without saying that trad arrows hit the sod, and dirt/rocks a lot more then my compound arrows ever did and these things are rugged! You will not go wrong with Beman, Gold Tip, Vapors, or Carbon Express. Just try to at least use the mid grade or higher of any of these brands, and a spine of .400s or higher.
